Tylah Tully chats with Piedmont Lithium (ASX:PLL) president and CEO Keith Phillips about the pending merger with Canadian joint venture partner Sayona Mining (ASX:SYA).

Although an overwhelming amount votes cast have supported the merger, Piedmont still needs to meet the US legal requirement of a majority of all outstanding shares voting in favour – prompting a pre-deadline participation push to create a stronger, better-capitalised North American lithium leader with key assets in Quebec, North Carolina and Ghana.
