OpenWay Recognised as Best-in-Class in 2025...

OpenWay, a Belgian payments software and the developer of the Way4 digital payment platform, has been named a Best-in-Class vendor in the 2025 Merchant Acquiring Software Platforms Matrix by Datos Insights.

The report places OpenWay in the Market Leaders quadrant, citing the strength of its platform capabilities, customer satisfaction, innovation, and alignment with the evolving needs of modern acquirers.

In this year’s assessment, the Way4 platform received the highest score on the Strength/Capability axis, reflecting its depth of functionality, flexibility, and range of features.

Way4 Merchant Acquiring is used by acquiring banks, processors, and fintech firms across the Americas, Europe, MENA, and APAC.

The platform supports fast deployment, real-time operations, and high-volume processing, alongside a modular architecture designed to enable local market adaptation within a global framework.

Way4’s features include end-to-end merchant lifecycle management, from digital onboarding to dynamic pricing, omnichannel and multi-asset acceptance (including POS, e-commerce, softPOS, cards, wallets, crypto, CBDCs, and A2A), real-time clearing, and reporting.
